In 1989 we opened our first store on 2nd Street in Seabrook, Texas and then expanded into our current location at 204 Kirby, 1 block off NASA Parkway. Our selections include the latest in designer frame styles, UV protection glass and archival matting. We provide professional guidance in color and style selections and explain the framing methods available that preserve and protect what is being framed.

When we think we have framed almost everything in our 20 + years custom framing, a customer brings us another challenge. We are not shy and will seriously consider framing almost anything. See photos of some unusual projects on our Facebook page.

Custom Prints from a Digital File, art, photo, negative or slide

Owner and artist Ruth Burke offers her printing expertise with our in-house 44" wide Canon Pigment Ink printer. She began making her own prints from her photography in 2000 when she purchased her first pigment ink printer. The outstnding quality of the fade reisitant pigment inks coupled with fine ink droplets that capture detail are what Ruth prefers when making her"giclee" fine art prints. She offers to make prints for her customers from a digital file that is provided or she can make a file with our high resolution scanners from your original artwork, photo, negative or slide. Archival papers and canvas designed for pigment inks are provided to select for printing.

What We Do

Ruth Burke´s Seaside Gallery offers an extensive library of images from around the world. They are reproduced by the artist as original fine art giclee prints. Selected images are also available for licensed use in a variety of publication venues.

If you have seen Ruth´s work at a recent show, we will be glad to assist you in locating that piece you saw at the show. You are welcome to e-mail or call us with your request for the different subjects, colors or locations of a print that you are looking for. We will search our files and prepare a custom selection for you to review at no charge. We take pride in our personal service and custom selections. As the artist, I enjoy the "art of seeing" while creating etchings from life and placing them onto film. I refer to the image on film as my "photographic etching", similar to a printing plate that is used to make a print. I use the giclee method to produce a fine art quality print on luster paper, rag paper or canvas.
